Tailored Suits
So whatever your plans when you come to leave uni, chances are you will be drawn in to the world of work at some point, and unless you're amazingly talented or amazingly lucky that probably means you'll be wearing a suit for around 230 days a year until you retire. Fear not, however - for there is a large and varied world of suit fashion out there that most people under the age of 21 have never even glimpsed. Those guys you've seen on the bus every rush hour for the last three years dorking it up in their off-the-peg suits should not be taken as the be all and end all of the trend. They look like dorks because they ARE dorks, not because they're wearing a suit.
Fortunately the world of tailored suits allows those with a will to be 9 to 5 style heroes, saving lives and breaking hearts on the daily commute. By commissioning a tailor to create a completely bespoke suit you can have as much or as little creative input as you like, choosing from all number of cuts, cloths, linings and buttons.
What is most important about tailored suits is that they fit perfectly. This means that you will look your very best without having to trawl through racks of readymade suits and uncomfortably helpful salesmen. It is also a saviour for the less physically typical among us who have a gut to hide, or maybe struggle to fill those more manly shouldered jackets.
So don't get bummed out about going to work, get tailored!
